Big Bro Espresso began in New Zealand in 2005. That Flatwhite really blew my mind! Thank you QT.

Since then Coffee has played such an important role in my day to day life enriching it with the people that appreciate the good stuff. It’s the little things in life that make a real difference to the quality of it.

Knowing I wanted to have good coffee in my life and be able to share that with everyone. I started with knowledge! So I invested in my SCAE (Speciality Coffee Association Europe) training at Prufrock in London by the infamous Jemery Challender (the best there is)

Fully qualified to Caffinate I then went to hone my espresso skills in busy central London coffee shops until I felt confident I could extract some banging espresso packed with flavour in a balanced, harmonious way showcasing the natural attributes of coffee beans.

Slowly I managed to gather all the equipment needed to serve espresso based beverages to the highest level. Then building my stall from scratch I then was ready to hit the road.

Then, along the way, I bumped into an old school friend of my big brother Paul. Dumo was the was missing part of the puzzle and since has been suppling me with excellent qualities of ethical, transparent sourced coffees from all over the world. Roasted to perfection. What a great partnership it has bean ;)

Fast forward many years with many caffeine highs, and lots and lots of learning. We have a great team of equally passionate people to come to your event and spread the love in our vintage van or horse box.
